On graduating from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Social and Political Sciences I felt very unsure of where my interests lay. I spent four months working as a researcher in an environmental charity in India before realising that I was principally interested in domestic politics and returning to the UK to work with the research team at the Fabian Society and at 38 Degrees as an online campaigner.

Working at the Resolution Society focused my interests on economic inequality, social mobility and educational disadvantage. I am passionate about widening university access and keen to explore and address educational disadvantage and aspiration.

I have been involved in developing a number of social projects. At university I expanded a scheme to send students to teach in Nepal and recently established a social venture to provide free university application and interview support to pupils in disadvantaged schools in Lambeth.

I am very excited about working on Fastlaners. Involvement in the project looks to provide an excellent opportunity to develop my skills in social innovation, work practically to address social mobility and gain an excellent understanding of social policy in this area.
