Coaching/Mentoring

We understand that networks and exposure to different professions and professionals are important to any job seeker.

We have been creating a network of professionals around the Fastlaners programme. These professionals could potentially act as coaches and/or informal mentors to the Fastlaners participants. The aim of coaching/informal mentoring is to create a community of professionals who will be part of the Fastlaners network whereby they can give their personal experiences as well as guidance and knowledge to the Fastlaners.

We are developing opportunities for career professionals who are interested in giving guidance and advice to Fastlaners.

Not only will coaches/informal mentors be part of the Fastlaners yearbook, but we will be coordinating regular ‘meet-ups’- informal social gatherings for professionals from all sectors and participants (old and new) to create networking opportunites and ways people support each other.

In subsequent programmes, Fastlaners might potentially develop a more formalised mentoring programme once we better understand the needs of the participants.
